The 1800 RESCUE wildlife help line help drivers and locals contact a wildlife carer via a free call number 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Designed to help existing wildlife services the Injured Wildlife Transport Service Inc. plans over the next 18 months to set up an on call wildlife ambulance staffed by volunteers to service Nillumbik and surounding areas.
We are currently seeking funding and donations to make this service a reallity, we expect to have tax deductabilty of donations in the near future, so i’ll keep you posted.
